Celebrating Excellence: Inspirations Exhibition Award Winners

The Inspirations: A Global Cascade of Influence From Old Souvenirs to New Voices exhibition not only highlights the breadth of talent across ÀNI Art Academies but also recognizes exceptional achievement through a series of awards that honor distinct aspects of artistic practice. Each award carries a monetary value of 500 dollars, further supporting and celebrating the accomplishments of the artists.

This year, three apprentices were recognized for their outstanding contributions, each demonstrating excellence in a key area of the evaluation process.

Pasindu Koralage was awarded for Technical Execution for his work Memento Mori. This recognition highlights a commanding understanding of materials, form, and visual coherence. His work demonstrates a level of control that supports, rather than overshadows, expressive intent.

Rather than imitation, Barbara presents a meaningful engagement with her source, demonstrating a deep understanding of how inspiration can be interpreted and reimagined into a unique artistic voice.

Together, these awards reflect the core values of the exhibition: technical strength, conceptual clarity, and meaningful engagement. Each of these artists exemplifies how disciplined practice and thoughtful intention can come together to create work that resonates on multiple levels.

We congratulate Pasindu, Barbara, and Garret on this well deserved recognition and look forward to seeing how their artistic journeys continue to evolve.
