Welcome to the official website for ÀNI Art Academies, a non-profit organization that provides an intensive multi-year art skills education to aspiring artists around the world. Utilizing the highly successful training system developed by artist Anthony J. Waichulis, the ÀNI Art Academies’ Program is designed to promote creative freedom through deliberate practice and discipline.
A collaborative project conceived and founded by Tim Reynolds, ÀNI Art Academies empowers students to create, express, and communicate in new and exciting ways. In the beginning, their limits are constrained by lack of skills – in the end, they are only bound by their limitless imagination.
ÀNI Art Academies Locations
Works created by the artists of the ÀNI Art Academies continue to be celebrated by critics and collectors alike. Using a vocabulary of line, value, and color, our creatives aim to deliver compelling stories, interesting subjects, and immersive environments. And while the works do vary in many ways—each endeavor is identical in that it is a product of countless hours of dedication and training that is often met with wonder, delight, and curiosity.
From the subtle gradients of light that may communicate the form of a delicate face to the many furrows and ridges that might reveal the coarse texture of a rough stone, each subject is handled with a care that cannot hide the artist’s passion for, or dedication to, their craft.
In keeping with the core principles of the ÀNI Art Academies’ educational philosophy, each Academy celebrates the influence of regional culture on both atmosphere and architecture. Our overall mission is not to promote any singular aesthetic to aspiring creatives, but to expand the visually expressive and communicative tools by which they may deliberately pursue their own.
Genesis&Genius: Please stay tuned for the next exhibition featuring ÀNI Art Academies artists this June. We will be showcasing once again with one of our favorite contemporary galleries Lovetts Gallery in Tulsa, OK.

Unlike many other Representational Art schools, the ÀNI Art Academies start students on their own original concepts at early stages in the learning process. I wholeheartedly would recommend the ÀNI Art Academies to anyone interested in learning how to create advanced representational works of art.
Passion and professionalism are at the heart of ÀNIArt Academies. A heart of love, logic, and liberty. The high standards of ÀNI Art excel in the training of their students to be masters in all aspects. It is with deep pleasure and respect from all of us at Lovetts Gallery to support ÀNI Art Academies and their student's mission, methods, and work! Lovely People!
I became a student at the ÀNI Art Academy Waichulis in 2014, and the skills I gained from the curriculum changed my life. I have been included in numerous Art exhibitions, winning many awards, both domestically and abroad. As the current Dean of ÀNI Art Academy Thailand, I am thankful to be part of such a generous project and for the opportunity to share the knowledge I received with other aspiring artists.
