Barbara Fox is recognized for her accomplished realism in a variety of mediums, including graphite, charcoal, watercolor, and oil paint. Her artwork is exhibited and collected internationally, receiving numerous awards, and has been selected for publication in fine art books and magazines.
Her paintings and drawings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in international venues, including the United States Embassy in Papua New Guinea, the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, NY, and the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, Spain.
Barbara has traveled the country, teaching her method of layering washes and painting details, including workshops Yosemite National Park Artist-in-Residence Program. Barbara also works as an illustrator for greeting cards, and for 12 years as a designer for the United States Mint. Twenty two of her designs have been minted as coins and medals.
