ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka

The ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka studios are located near the Central South Coast of Sri Lanka in the Matara District. The six-building campus is perched above vibrant rice fields and is surrounded by lush vegetation and sprawling tea plantations. A quiet solitude, perfectly conducive to artistic development adds a sense of scholastic serenity. Diverse wildlife compliments the surrounding grounds such as whales and rare turtles that enjoy the Indian Ocean less than two miles away. Artists can immerse themselves in the peaceful seclusion while enjoying access to all that Sri Lanka has to offer.

With two studios nestled into the endless rolling hills, the ÀNI Sri Lanka studios are both beautiful and efficient. Designed by the award-winning Reda Amalou of AW2 Architecture, the studio was built using a combination of locally sourced products and the newest building technologies, which save energy and maintain an environment ideal for the art materials. The five-acre campus is designed to melt into the surrounding jungle. Customizable lighting, ample workspaces, and state-of-the-art workstations empower ÀNI Art Academy Sri Lanka apprentices with all the tools and comforts of a remarkable campus.

Directions:
Get on Colombo – Katunayake Expy from Maradana Rd/AC19, Sri Sangaraja Mawatha and A1. Follow E02 and Southern Expy/E01 to Meddewatte-Kekanadure-Yatiyana Rd in Southern Province. Exit from Southern Expy/E01. Take Uda Aparekka Rd to Rathmale Rd. The Academy will be on the left.
