Visual Language Curriculum Nears Completion

Alla Prima Challenge Returns to Ani Art Academy Waichulis

Back by popular demand, another round of 16-week Alla Prima challenges has started at Ani Art Academy Waichulis. Week 1 kicked off with the artist’s choice, while week 2 challenged artists to paint a single light-surrounded object while employing a 5-stroke palette draw. Leah Waichulis Donates Painting to Benefit Auction

Ani Art Academy’s Leah Waichulis has donated one of her recent paintings, “Cabin Exterior” to an auction that benefits The Mikey’s WayFoundation. The foundation, which enriches the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, started in 2005 when MikeyFriedman was battling cancer and chose to share his Make a Wish gift with other children fighting the disease. Instructor Timothy Jahn visited the new Ani Art Academy Sri Lanka campus earlier this month. The new school is currently underconstruction and due to open in 2016.
