We would like to congratulate ÀNI Art Academies Waichulis apprentice Mitchell Bagnas for being awarded first place in the Strokes of Genius 17, the Best of Drawing Competition! This competition is sponsored by Artists Magazine and Artists Network and celebrates artists working on drawing-specific art.
Mitchell was awarded first place for his drawing Mourning Swan which was his final project in the drawing portion of our program. Since its completion in June of last year, Mourning Swan has received several awards and digital exhibitions. And the piece has sold and is in the permanent collection of one of Mitchell’s collectors.
