ÀNI Faculty and Apprentices Continue to Win Awards

The ÀNI Art Academies would like to give a shout out to ÀNI artist Luisa Ruiz and instructor Maxwell Miller. Both received honors for their artwork this month in separate competitions.

Luisa Ruiz

On March 1st, ÀNI Art Academies America artist Luisa Ruiz was awarded the Special Merit Award for the charcoal drawing Louisiana Spider Web. This piece was submitted to the Wild Heart Gallery’s show Ebb and Flow: Wildlife and Water. Wild Heart Gallery is an online gallery based out of Coachella Valley, California, and feature a diverse roster of artists who create art focused on animals and wildlife.

Maxwell Miller

ÀNI Art Academies Dominicana Instructor, Maxwell Miller, was awarded Best in Show for his drawing Behind the Curtain (12×8″, Charcoal and White Pastel) within Fusion Art’s 7th Annual Black & White Art Exhibition (Traditional Category.) Maxwell will be one of two featured artists on the Fusion Art website and community for the month of March.
