Maxwell Miller Receives Best People Award in NOAPS 2026 Spring Competition

We are excited to congratulate alumni and former dean of our Dominicana Academy, Maxwell Miller for receiving the Best People Award for his piece “At The Grand Master’s Table” in the National Oil And Acrylic Painters Society 2026 Spring Online Competition. Miller’s painting is a portrait of William M. Carter III, the 169th Grand Master of Ohio Masons. This is the latest in a long list of achievements Miller has accomplished.

The National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS) is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing an environment that inspires artists, creates a venue to display talent and nurture achievement, all while recognizing great art and helping its members to enhance their talent and marketing opportunities. It was founded in 1991 with the intention of having an exhibit that focused on acrylic and oil painting throughout the United States, and with that, the prestigious Best of America competition was formed. In 2013 the organization expanded and began including international artists outside of America in their exhibitions.

We at ÀNI are so proud of the many successes of Maxwell Miller, with this latest award showing his true mastery of oil painting.
