Apprentice Artwork Chosen as Jury Favorite

We are proud to announce that Nimeshika Wilegodage, an apprentice from our ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka campus, has been recognized in the BoldBrush Art Competition, earning the distinction of Jury’s Favorite for the month of July.

The BoldBrush Art Competition is an internationally respected platform that highlights outstanding artists from around the world, providing both emerging and established creators with an opportunity to showcase their work before a global audience. Known for its diverse submissions and discerning juries, the competition celebrates excellence across a wide range of styles and mediums, making it a vibrant snapshot of contemporary art practice today. Beyond recognition, the platform serves as a bridge between artists and collectors, fostering connections that can significantly impact an artist’s career. It is within this highly competitive arena that Nimeshika Wilegodage’s work, Silenced, was selected as part of the Jury’s Favorite for July 2025.

ÀNI Art Academies’ program is built on the principle that artistic mastery is not an innate gift but the result of structured, deliberate practice. By emphasizing perceptual calibration, technical fluency, and problem-solving through carefully sequenced exercises, apprentices like Nimeshika are equipped with the tools to achieve professional-level performance. Her recognition in such a competitive, global forum underscores both her personal commitment and the effectiveness of the training model.

Nimeshika’s accomplishment also highlights the growing presence of Sri Lankan artists on the international stage. Through her work, she demonstrates how the universal language of art can transcend borders, connecting audiences across cultures with a shared sense of beauty and meaning.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Nimeshika for this well-deserved honor and look forward to seeing how her continued growth and dedication will inspire others within our ÀNI community and beyond.
