ÁNI Art Academies graduate Michael Hernandez Mena live at QGallery Anguilla

ÁNI Art Academy is proud to celebrate the recent success of one of its talented graduates, Michael Hernandez Mena, who was prominently featured at the launch of “Art Bar,” a stylish new cocktail space attached to QGallery in Anguilla. At the heart of the evening was a captivating live painting performance, where the artist painted some elements of his latest artwork, The hanging hibiscus, transforming the gallery into a living canvas and drawing a crowd of art lovers and fellow creatives.

This milestone moment was not only a showcase of Michael’s evolving artistic voice but a vibrant reminder of ÁNI Art Academies’ impact on the contemporary Caribbean art scene. The event was made even more special by the presence of Jonathan Reutenauer, President of ÁNI Art Academies, Taffari Crawford, Dean of the ÁNI Art Academies Anguilla, both of whom attended to support and celebrate the graduate’s rising career, along with a number of ÁNI alumni whom also gathered, lending the event a sense of community.

QGallery’s launch of Art Bar signifies more than just the opening of a new cultural space, it marks the beginning of exciting collaborations between the gallery and ÁNI Art Academies. With this event as a promising first step, we look forward to curating more opportunities that highlight the talent, innovation, and bold vision of our graduates.
