Over the weekend, ÀNI Art Academies Waichulis campus hosted the Diagnostic Painter workshop presented by head instructor Anthony Waichulis. The Diagnostic Painter is a four-day painting intensive designed to optimize an artists painting process by analyzing the assumptions they start with and the choices they make. From palette content, brush loads, and support choices to anchors, application dynamics, and finishing strategies—the Diagnostic Painter examines each applicable variable in the process to see how each factor moves them closer to or further from their goal.
