Meet Our Faculty and Staff – Anguilla

Taffari Crawford is the current dean and instructor of the ÀNI Art Academies Anguilla. Born in Jamaica, Taffari moved to Anguilla at a young age. His interest in drawing and painting developed while in school, which manifested in him creating and selling many small sketches and craft sculptures in tourist shops around the island. Taffari learned about the ÀNI Art Academies while attending a local college fair and joined soon after under the apprenticeship of artist Timothy W. Jahn.

Lancer Celestin – Administrative Assistant

St. Lucian, by birth and upbringing, Lancer has always enjoyed the creative and performing arts. While having never formally trained as an artist, she remembered principles from her early introduction to art in primary and secondary school. Proving too expensive to pursue art as a youngster, she gave up any dreams of becoming an artist, and continued to draw and paint as a hobby. When she moved to Anguilla as an adult, Lancer realized that art could finally hold a significant spot in her life. She joined the ÀNI Art Academies Anguilla as an apprentice in 2023 and subsequently as Administrative Assistant to the campus.
