Capturing Realism Asia 2026 Is Just One Month Away

The countdown is officially on. Capturing Realism Asia 2026 opens one month from today, returning to the Lionel Wendt Art Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from October 3 through October 18, 2026.

This year marks the second Capturing Realism Asia exhibition in Sri Lanka, continuing a tradition that brings together the achievements of artists from ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka and Thailand. Hosted by ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka, the exhibition will feature work by more than 20 artists, highlighting the skill, dedication, and individual creative voices developed through the ÀNI Art Academies program. Behind the scenes, preparations are now entering their final stage as selected works are readied for exhibition.

The exhibition will once again be presented at the historic Lionel Wendt Art Centre, one of Colombo’s most important cultural venues and a longstanding home for visual art, theatre, music, and performance. Its commitment to supporting artists and providing a space for creative exchange makes it a particularly fitting setting for Capturing Realism Asia
