In 2021, the ÀNI Art Academies and ÀNI Private Resorts were featured in the Netflix original series The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals. This series features three hosts, Jo Franco, Megan Batoon, and Luis D. Ortiz, who travel around the world and stay in vacation rentals. Each host has a different background and chooses a destination based on that background for each episode.
The Academies and the Resorts were featured in season 2, episode 5, Give Back Getaways, which also features two other vacation destinations alongside the ÀNI Private Resorts that give back to the communities they are a part of. In the episode, the hosts spend a few days at the ÀNI Private Resorts Dominicana, where they learn about the luxury resort’s connection to the ÀNI Art Academies. And how the resorts make it possible for the ÀNI apprentices to get a world-class art education without financial debt. On the first day, they explore the resort, and on the following day, they visit our Dominicana campus to learn more about the academies.
