Alumni Maxwell Miller was recently selected for the 111th Annual Allied Artist of America Exhibition. The jurors chose 100 works to be part of the exhibition. Maxwell’s painting The Tale of the Curious Oyster and the other selected works are on display at The Butler Institute of American Art. These artworks will be on display until this Sunday, November 10th. If you are going to be in the area, make sure to check them out.
Louis Zona, executive director of The Butler, called the Allied Artists show “one of the great annual exhibitions hosted by The Butler. The exhibition features many of the greatest living artists and presents a wonderful survey of the status of art today.”
