ÀNI Art Academies is pleased to announce that the Capturing Realism Asia 2026 Online Catalog is now available to view and share.
Ahead of the exhibition’s opening at the Lionel Wendt Art Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka, the digital catalog offers audiences around the world an opportunity to explore the artwork and artists featured in this year’s exhibition.
Capturing Realism Asia 2026 brings together an exceptional collection of contemporary realism from artists representing ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka and Thailand. Featuring work by apprentices, alumni, instructors, and Deans, the exhibition celebrates the technical skill, dedication, and individual creative voices developing within ÀNI’s growing artistic community in Asia.
The online catalog provides a closer look at the selected works, accompanied by information about the artists and the ideas, experiences, and inspirations behind their work. From drawing and painting to a diverse range of subjects and personal narratives, the collection demonstrates how a strong technical foundation can support distinctly individual forms of visual expression.
For those unable to visit the exhibition in person, the catalog also provides an opportunity to experience the collection from anywhere in the world and to discover the artists participating in this year’s event.
This year marks the second Capturing Realism Asia exhibition in Sri Lanka, following the success of the inaugural event in 2024. The 2026 exhibition will once again be presented at the historic Lionel Wendt Art Centre in Colombo, continuing the celebration of contemporary realism and the accomplishments of ÀNI artists throughout the region.
