Pavithra Dissanayaka attends PRATIBIMB 3.0 International Art Camp

ANI Art Academies Sri Lanka artist Pavithra Dissanayaka recently traveled to India to participate in PRATIBIMB 3.0 – International Art Camp, held from February 27 to March 1, 2026. The event took place at the historic Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Odisha’s Puri District.

Organized by the Global Artist Forum Trust, the camp brought together painters, sculptors, and visual artists from multiple countries for several days of collaborative work and cultural exchange. For Dissanayaka, the invitation offered an opportunity to engage with artists from a range of backgrounds while working in a location known for its historical and architectural significance.

PRATIBIMB International Art Camp provides a setting where artists create work on site while sharing ideas about their creative processes, influences, and cultural perspectives. Unlike traditional exhibitions, art camps emphasize shared working environments and direct interaction among participants. Artists often work side by side in open or semi-public spaces, allowing them to observe one another’s methods and discuss different approaches to image-making.

The 2026 edition, PRATIBIMB 3.0, welcomed participants from across Asia and beyond. Over the course of the three-day event, artists produced new work inspired by their surroundings while engaging in discussions about contemporary artistic practice, cultural identity, and the role of art in connecting communities.
