Frequently Asked Questions

As our community at ÀNI Art Academies continues to grow, so does the range of thoughtful questions we receive from artists at every stage of their journey. Whether you’re exploring the Academy for the first time, actively working through the curriculum, or teaching within the program, it’s natural to want clear, reliable information about how everything fits together.

We invite you to explore the FAQ as a starting point, a reference, or simply a way to get better acquainted with how and why we do what we do. Our goal is to help you navigate your experience here with confidence, clarity, and a strong sense of direction.

How do I apply?

You can apply in two ways. Either via the digital application or via a physical copy, both are available on our website. You will find both options under the enrollment tab by following the link below.

How much does the program cost?

Thanks to the generous support of Tim Reynold’s Foundation and ÀNI Private Resorts, the ÀNI Art Academies offers a limited number of full merit scholarships for eligible learners, covering all tuition fees and applicable materials.

Can I get more information about the scholarship?

The requirements for this scholarship include maintaining a demonstrable dedication to exceptional effort, adherence to instruction, and a commitment to program completion. The meeting of target “in-studio” hours and performance goals lays the initial foundation for maintaining scholarship eligibility and good standing in the Academies.

Is there an online option for the program?

At present, we do not offer an online option. While our training system is designed to grow and adapt with the advent of new technologies, the core dynamic of our curriculum can be described as “atelier style” instruction. This means that each apprentice works closely with master artists to learn specific skills, a system that has served as an effective training mode for thousands of years. Currently, the translation of this process into an online offering does not seem to meet the standards we set for effective and efficient development. In the meantime, we remain dedicated to evaluating new, available technologies to increase our educational reach.

My child is interested in attending. Is there an age limit?

Currently, our resources are only available to learners who are 18 years of age or older and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. This policy ensures that learners invested in our core program are not burdened with educational deficits that may result in significant developmental disadvantages.

Where are you located?

At present, we have six Academies located in five different countries:

– One schools in the United States of America (Pennsylvania)
– Two schools in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic and Anguilla)
– Two schools in Asia (Thailand and Sri Lanka)

I am not in one of the countries where there is a campus, can I still apply?

You can absolutely apply from anywhere. It is important to understand, though, that while the ÀNI Art Academies can address many needs of aspiring learners, we do not have the ability to provide or assist with the acquisition of the documentation required for travel, study, or residency in any of the countries where we operate.

What are the qualifications?

Entrance to this highly sought-after program is based primarily on an artist’s level of commitment. We believe that great artists are not born, they are educated. Therefore, ÀNI Art Academies requires no previous artistic experience and instead seeks out individuals dedicated to the learning process and the completion of training. The skills garnered from the ÀNI Art Academies training program apply to many aspects of the contemporary artistic endeavor and beyond. Consider making ÀNI Art Academies part of your artistic education and allow your world of creative possibilities to grow.
