Anguilla Apprentice Participates in Entrepreneurship Expo

ÀNI Arts Academies Anguilla apprentice Anna Lynch recently took part in the Anguilla Youth Business Foundation’s annual Entrepreneurship Expo, an event designed to support and celebrate emerging business owners across the island. The expo is part of the GET SET Entrepreneurial Training Programme, which provides education, mentorship, and opportunities for Anguilla residents aged 18–35 who are interested in starting their own businesses but may face financial or structural barriers.

The event also welcomed local business owners and established entrepreneurs, creating a dynamic environment for networking, learning, and collaboration. For Anna, the expo offered a valuable opportunity to present both her creative work and her growing entrepreneurial vision.

At her booth, Anna displayed a range of original artworks, including handmade cards and custom-designed coasters. Attendees were able to engage directly with her process and learn more about how she has begun structuring her creative business, from product development to marketing strategies and long-term planning.

As part of the experience, Anna spoke with visitors and fellow entrepreneurs about how she is building her brand, promoting her work, and setting goals for the future of her business. Her participation in the expo reflects the growing connection between artistic practice and entrepreneurship, and highlights the importance of providing young creatives with platforms to develop both skill and confidence.

Anna’s journey demonstrates the impact that accessible business education and creative training can have when combined. ÀNI Arts Academies is proud to see its apprentices pursuing opportunities that expand their reach beyond the studio and into their communities.
