We want to congratulate apprentice Nimeshika Wilegodage for being selected as part of the “Jury Favorite” in the BoldBrush monthly competition for August 2025. Nimeshika’s drawing, “Complexity of Life”, was one of 15% of all entries chosen as “Jury Favorite.”
The BoldBrush Art Contest & Exhibit, also known as the BoldBrush Painting Competition, is a monthly online competition organized by BoldBrush in partnership with FASO. The contest is open to a wide range of visual art media, including representational art, abstract work, digital art, mixed media, fine art photography, and sculpture. Each month, artists submit individual pieces of artwork through the BoldBrush platform, and the entries are reviewed by a guest juror, often a previous winner or an established artist, who selects the winners. The competition provides a platform not only for recognition and awards but also for visibility among collectors, galleries, and fellow artists.
