Ella Chen Honored in National Congressional Art Competition

ÀNI Art Academies is proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by young creative artist Ella Chen, whose work has been selected for national recognition in the prestigious Congressional Art Competition, organized by the Congressional Institute.

Ella is one of ÀNI’s young creatives and a dedicated long-distance apprentice studying under Mitchell Bagnas. Her accomplishment highlights both her individual commitment and the strength of ÀNI’s extended mentorship model.

Her drawing, Sweet Dreams (9 × 14″, Charcoal), has been chosen for exhibition in the United States Capitol, where it will be displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel in Washington, D.C. This historic corridor connects the U.S. Capitol to the Cannon House Office Building and is traversed daily by members of Congress, staff, and visitors from around the world. The placement of student artwork in this space represents one of the highest honors available to young artists in the United States.

The Congressional Art Competition is a nationwide initiative that recognizes and encourages artistic talent across congressional districts. Each year, thousands of students participate, with only a select number of works chosen for display in the Capitol.

This recognition marks an important milestone in Ella’s artistic development and underscores the strength of the disciplined training model at ÀNI Art Academies. We are excited to see how her work continues to evolve and are honored to have her representing our community on a national stage.
