A world-class curriculum creating award-winning Artists

Welcome to the official website for the ÀNI Art Academies, a non-profit educational organization founded by philanthropist Tim Reynolds created to provide an intensive multi-year art skills education to aspiring artists around the globe. Utilizing the celebrated training system developed by Anthony J. Waichulis, the ÀNI Art Academies program offers a path to greater creative freedom with a carefully calibrated regimen of focused study and deliberate practice. We believe that great artists are not born–they are educated. Our artist’s long history of awards and recognition is an ongoing testament to the truth of this belief.

Tradition and Innovation

The ÀNI Art Academies curriculum aims to provide a comprehensive skill-based education that, while focusing on traditional techniques, incorporates contemporary imaging tools like photography and digital imaging practices into our artist’s experience. While the primary focus of our students is the fundamental foundations of traditional drawing and painting practices, we recognize the significance of modern tools in the creative practices of today’s artists. Our curriculum aims to equip students with a diverse skill set, weaving tradition and innovation, empowering them to navigate the evolving landscape of artistic practice with confidence and versatility. The incredible works of our artists demonstrate the success of this strategy.

In keeping with the core principles of the ÀNI Art Academies’ educational philosophy, each Academy celebrates the influence of regional culture on both atmosphere and architecture.  Our overall mission is not to promote any singular aesthetic to aspiring creatives, but to expand the visually expressive and communicative tools by which they may deliberately pursue their own.
