ÁNI Art Academies Waichulis
(b. 1957) Sharon was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania and received her bachelor’s degree from King’s College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. In 2009 she was accepted into The Waichulis Studio apprenticeship program and later continued her studies with Anthony Waichulis at the ÁNI Art Academies Waichulis in Bear Creek, Pennsylvania. Sharon’s drawings and paintings have received numerous awards and recognition from several international competitions including Southwest Artist Magazine’s 20 Over 30 International Competition, The Art Renewal Center International Salon Competitions, American Women Artists Online Exhibits, The Portrait Society of America, and Art Kudos Online International Exhibits. Sharon has participated in several gallery and museum exhibits including the Capturing Realism Biannual Exhibits, several of The Rehs Contemporary Galleries, Inc. exhibits, New York, New York, and the “American Still Life” exhibit at The R.W. Norton Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
