ÁNI Art Academies Sri Lanka
(b. 1993) Lahiru’s art journey started at Morawaka Keerthi Abeywickrama National School. His passion for the arts led him to participate not only in school art contests but also in the Annual Buddhist Art contests held by the Sapugoda Vidyaniketha Vidyayathana Piriwena, where he later studied and won prizes. He is also the official illustrator of the children’s books that his father writes. To enhance his skills, he joined ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka in 2018. Since then, he has studied under the supervision of Timothy W. Jahn. He creates art pieces which emphasizes the true beauty of nature and animal behavior by using charcoal as the medium. He truly adores the opportunity he got from the ÀNI Art Academies to enhance his skills.
