ÁNI Art Academies Waichulis
After a childhood obsessed with fairy tales and spooky stories, Ava sought to create these far-away lands as an adult. Studies in interior design, art history, fashion, and textiles led to a 24-year career as a decorative arts & textile archivist, historian, designer, and lecturer. Immersed in centuries-old objects from around the globe was the kindling for Ava’s speculative fiction and creative storytelling. The amalgamation of the desire to expand her own creative work and discover the world of imaginative realism art culminated in Ava applying to the Ani Art Academy. Ava states, “Seeing my work evolve as my skills progress has me enthusiastically embracing this new chapter in my life.”
