ÁNI Art Academies Anguilla
Dexter Anthony Welcome’s passion for art and creativity was obvious in his early childhood as he drew and painted on every surface in the home that he shared with his parents and three siblings in the country of Guyana. He excelled in art at primary and secondary school but later focused his studies on diesel mechanics and automotive repairs. Upon migrating to Anguilla, in the British West Indies, Dexter’s interest in art kept burning in him and was reignited at the ÁNI Art Academy Anguilla one year ago. He calls it his ‘wow’ moment and believes that one’s ‘wow’ moment will lead to one’s ‘win’ moment. Life is Art, and Art is Life – creating.
