Capturing Realism 2017

Capturing Realism is a wildly popular biennial exhibition of realistic paintings and drawings celebrating the efforts of the Ani Art Academies (formerly The Waichulis Studio) for nearly 20 years.

This year's exhibition, Capturing Realism 2017, will bring together over 50 skilled artists from around the globe. Capturing Realism 2017 will feature artists associated with all Ani Art Academies (US, Anguilla, Dominican Republic, and Thailand), Long Distance Apprentices and Academies’ Affiliates. Both established artists and current apprentices will reveal the results of an unwavering dedication to their craft.

Please join us for the opening reception on July 8, 2017, from 5 pm - 7 pm at the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery at Misericordia University. Artwork will remain on view until August 26, 2017.
