Ani Alumni Terese Rogers in Gateways to Drawing

A big congratulations to alumni Terese Rogers, her drawing “Le Petit Fleur” is included in the textbook "Gateways to Drawing", by Stephen C.P. Gardner. "Gateways to Drawing" is an adaptable guide that covers the full drawing sequence. From basic setup and choice materials to self-critique and evaluation of drawings, this text allows the reader to design their ideal drawing course. The book also comes with an optional free sketchbook.

Since her graduation from Ani Art Academy Waichulis in 2013, Terese Rogers has opened her studio, West River Street on which she teaches realism. She also is an adjunct professor at Luzerne County Community College where she instructs a range of studio art courses.

Her work has received awards including honorable mention and finalist awards from the Art Renewal Center and finalists awards from The Artist Magazine.  Terese's work has been featured in various publications including The Artist Magazine, Strokes of Genius and American Arts Quarterly.  Her work is collected both nationally and internationally including the permanent collection of Museu Europeu d'Art Modern (MEAM) Barcelona, Spain, the Maslow Collection and the Waichulis Family Collection.

Terese exhibits her work at Lovett's Gallery, Tulsa Oklahoma and Mainstreet Galleries, Kingston, Pennsylvania.  Her past exhibits include Reh's Contemporary Gallery, New York City, Art Basil, Miami and Galeria L'Oeil du Prince, Paris.
